The clergy don’t wear robes at this service, but suits. The atmosphere tends to be informal, like in a country church. And although we don’t have a full choir, we might have a solo, or quartet, or the Chorale, or a Children’s or Youth Choir sing. It varies from week to week. The hymns sung tend to be more of the old time "Gospel favorites."

This class in New Testament Studies is led by Betty Dawson.

Class members range from young adults to senior adults. The class enjoys the anecdotes and stories shared from years of ministry and travel.

Class members are age 45 and older. Their teacher presents Biblical lessons that draw from a wide variety of sources.

Kidz Xpress includes an interactive Bible Study, Rotation Model and Sunday Worship. Kidz Xpress opens at 9:15 for children to sign in and parents should bick up children between 10:30 & 10:40. Children will go to worship with their parents, but will be invited to go to Worship and Wonder early in each worship service.

This group includes adults in school as well as the workplace. Participants engage in lively discussions about any and all questions a Christian might ask as they endeavor to live faithfully in a constantly changing and always challenging world.

Power Verses features a new scripture each week to discuss, illustrate and remember.

This study is a discussion group based on selected Bible passages. We will ask ourselves what we can learn from the readings and how they apply to our daily lives. All are welcome. For information, contact Krista Holder at 690-7905.

Class members are age 55 and older. A team of teachers rotate weekly to present lessons from the International Uniform Lessons which are also used by Christians in many other denominations.

The Wide Open Worship (W.O.W.) services offer the best of today's contemporary Christian music in a casual atmosphere featuring Kevin Paige and the W.O.W. band, dramas and a complete multi-media worship experience. The setting is informal and close, dress is casual.

The clergy wear robes. The full Chancel Choir sings every Sunday. With the tall ceiling and stained-glass windows, the atmosphere is most holy and spiritual. Worshippers are asked to enter the Sanctuary quietly, as many like to come early and pray prior to the beginning of the service.

Worship and Wonder helps our children continue their understanding of God, and the role church and worship plays in their spiritual maturity. Children are invited to leave with David or Sharron Johnson from morning worship for Worship and Wonder. Children are picked up in the underground by parents between 11:45 am and 12:05 pm.

Committee Meeting

This very important ministry reaches out to Lindenwood's visitors and newcomers through phone calls, emails and Cookie deliveries. This is a great time for fellowship and to live out Christ's Great Commission. Contact Sally Isom at 219-8882 if you would like to join in!

This class is a study and dialogue concerning the changes occurring in Christianity today. The class will consist of 10 - 25 people willing to commit to a weekly Monday meeting for one year. Contact Hal Bishop for more information about this class.

This class, led by Charlotte Jones, consist of gentle and smooth stretching techniques, smooth and peachy keen deep breathing excerises and methods of relaxing. Cost is $1 per class plus membership to the Fitness Center is required.

The Station opens in the Underground at 5:45 pm for sign-in and parents shoucl pick up children at 7:15. Activities include fellowship with many physical activities for children to burn off some mid-week energy and a short bible lesson.

The children go to the Gym for this class each 3rd Wednesday of the month.
